The Safety and Security HOTLINE is a 24-hour hotline designed to provide a communication tool for students, staff, parents, and the community to advise the Cleveland Metropolitan School District of any immediate safety hazards or concerns. These hazards should be items that have been identified as immediate in nature and that require immediate action to overt a potential serious situation.

Radio Dispatch open 24 hours. A dispatcher is always on the job.
Photo Identification
Photo ID’s are taken Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s only.
Hours are 9 am-11 am and 2 pm - 4 pm
All employees must sign in before getting an ID. A driver’s license or State ID should be shown before getting an ID taken.
All District employees should have ID’s. If you do not have an ID, department supervisor should email Markita Williams with staff member's name, title, and department or school for security purposes. There is a nominal fee to replace a lost or stolen Identification badge.
Swipe cards for access to certain areas of the buildings are distributed by Laverne Austin-Hurley, who should be emailed with specifics.
