Today, the Ohio Auditor of State (AOS) released the findings of a special audit conducted on the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. The special audit was prompted when a CMSD employee reported “a suspicious new vendor” to the Ohio AOS during the district’s 2008 routine financial statement audit.
Cleveland Metropolitan School District officials today announced the 2009 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Trial Urban District Assessment (TUDA) results. The students of Martin Luther King Jr. Career Campus welcome prestigious Morehouse College President, Dr. Robert M. Franklin to their school. Dr. Franklin will address a group of 9th grade males that are a part of the Governor’s Initiative for Closing the Achievement Gap. Franklin’s comments will focus on the importance of African American males embracing and pursuing education on all levels and the legacy of Morehouse College.
