CMSD Coaches seek Players for Fall Sports

The Cleveland Metropolitan School District’s Interscholastic Athletics Office is seeking prospective student athletes in grades 9-12 to tryout for the following sports: football, volleyball, soccer, golf, tennis and cross-country.

Any student who intends to participate in interscholastic athletics must have an up-to-date physical examination, have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 and receive all passing marks on their final 2010-2011 school year end report card.

Sign-up for high school football begins Wednesday, July 27, 2011; while the official start of the season for volleyball, soccer, golf, tennis and cross-country is Monday August 8, 2011.  Interested student athletes should contact their high school’s Interscholastic Athletes Department for specific tryout dates and times.
